About Us
Last Chance Dog Rescue started when a we took in a bunch of stray dogs that had been dumped, over a couple of weeks, in our community and were roaming around getting into peoples trash and generally being a nucience. Today we have over 50 dogs looking for a new home, ranging from very large to very small. we believe every dog deserves a fighting chance at a life filled with love.
Our Mission
We believe every dog deserves a second chance. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need across North Texas.
Rescue First
We pull dogs from high-kill shelters before time runs out, giving them the second chance they deserve.
Compassionate Care
Every dog in our care receives veterinary attention, proper nutrition, and the love they need to heal and thrive.
Perfect Matches
We take time to understand each dog's personality and each family's lifestyle to make lasting, successful placements.
Community Driven
Our work is powered entirely by volunteers and donors who share our belief that no dog should be left behind.
